only 3 more days with the seniors

i seriously really honestly do not know what i'm going to do next year or how i'll even get through the year without them

i'm gunna cry

the rotary river rally regatta boat race :]

this saturday i woke up at 6:45 to get to the tempe town lake by 7:30 for the boat race...
so for the first 2 hours we just sat there and bummed around eating oranges and donuts and playing phase 10 lol i defi. owneddd ben

thenn they came around and inspected our boats and i ended up having to be on the "its a small world" boat...the whole group knew that the boat was going to sink but i was like "oh its okay..maybe we wont"

we definitely did

3 of our 5 boats sank and 1 boat didn't even start

so anywaysss the whole group got the boat and put on our lifejackets and got in the boat. even the people that were handling the whole thing and helping people get in their boats were like, "uh your boat is going to sink so we're going to put your group in last just so that you don't have to be in water for a long time" so we started getting in and as soon as 3 people got in, the boat expanded and cracked and water started coming in where i was sitting. we started rowing because we wanted to get kinda far before we collapsed...so we made the first turn and water was already coming up and there was water on my knees so i was like...

uh guys..we're not gunna get very far..we should stop

but no one listened and we kept rowing...this whole time i was still pretty much in the water..after about 30 seconds...my side of the boat collapsed and me, adra, and koshy fell into the water and got rescued by people in kayaks..

the water felt SO GOOOD! i mean yeah its green and nasty looking but on a HOT 100 degrees day...ANYTHINGGG is good

so only one half of the boat had broken off and the other half wanted to keep going to see how far they could go before they also collapsed..which was like 3 minutes after i reached shore

and then i laughed...for a long time

Saturday

sooo this was a really good but short weekend

friday night, my family and i went to the mall....finallyyy...and i got a new outfit :] and thenn shebani called and told me she's coming to the mall too! so then we met up and shopped around a bit. i was cravingggggg CPK so my mom, being the wonderful mother she is, took us there! it was muy yummy

thenn neil and neeraj met up with us at CPK but i couldn't stay because i had to wake up really early saturday morning. but one day you guys...we'll have dinner and i'll be able to come and stay

on saturday, i woke up at 5 and got ready reallyy quickly to get to MHS by 5:45. and thenn we left and got to science olympiad and stayed there until 5 pm.

basicallyy we had 5 coolers full of food + 81920386412983461 boxes of pizza + forgetting my field guide for entomology at home + junkyard not working at all + lots of red vines + ultimate frisbee + ZIP BONG (defi. made my lips hurt really badly) + hearts + tie dye shirts +chad squirting people at the award ceremony + obnoxiously loud screaming + A 2ND PLACE SILVER MEDAL!!!!! = a very very fun day

its always better to win something when you're not even expecting it all all. as soon as they called 3rd place, mcclintock red, i was like ahh damn...didn't place in anything but thenn they said 2nd place MCCLINTOCK BLUE! and i screamed like a mad woman yay yay yay

and mcclintock red got 4th place overall!!

yay mcclintock red and blue team...we're amazing! :o)

then after science olympiad was jinesh's party

it was alright...mostly just a hangout party

except MY BUTT IS BRUISED NOW because of shebani//neil and his clumsiness...lol just kidding neil
but no seriously, it hurts really badly. i can't sleep/sit on that side...

so yesterday in english 102 i realized my superiority in the world:

its weird though because in high school, esp in the PPA, you (or maybe only me) don't even know how stupid people can be and its not until you get out into the real world that it becomes more evident! like i knew there were stupid people but SO MANY OF THEM?! its just shocking and sad. yeah...PPA has kept me in a shelter of genius minds. nerdy, yes....but brilliant and i love it

anywayss i hadn't updated in awhile and i thought the time had come....

i have chemistry homework to do, but i don't know which problems we were assigned...so this might be a problem.

i have sooo much work to finish hopefully before the end of this week but everytime i think about it, it makes me want to avoid it more and more...

not sure if i want to go to coronation anymore...all the excitement i had for it has died..and now i honestly don't care about the dance

yesterday i went to jinesh's house to watch the superbowl....the wholeee 3rd/4th quarters no one did ANYTHING and they were always at the 30 yard line...so yeah. that was way boring. i don't like football. its just too slowmoving for me

atleast in basketball they are constantly making baskets
